We participated in the "Pornography: The New Drug?" symposium held at Furama Riverfront Hotel on 22 November 2024.
This symposium brought together leading experts in the field of sex and pornography addiction to raise awareness on the nature of the problem, the underlying causes, and discuss potential solutions. It was also a platform for mental-health organisations and social service agencies to network and share resources in dealing with this issue.
The fight against pornography addiction is never easy, with advances in technology which make pornography more easily accessible, and adaptable to people's cravings and desires. The shame that comes with battling an addiction can also be a lonely journey, but there is help available.
