On 16 January 2025, the Board and staff of One Hope Centre (OHC) came together for a meaningful one-day retreat.
We took part in a Kintsugi workshop—a profound and symbolic experience. In this Japanese art form, we broke plates, carefully glued the pieces back, and used lacquer mixed with gold powder to seal the cracks. The result? A beautiful plate that, despite its cracks, is more striking and even prettier than the original one.
This process mirrors the heart of our work at OHC. Just as Kintsugi transforms broken pieces into something stronger and more beautiful, we help individuals overcome behavioural addictions, rebuild their lives, and rediscover their strengths. Though their journeys may leave marks, they emerge more resilient and ready to face life’s challenges.
Are you or someone you know struggling with behavioural addictions like gambling, pornography, or compulsive spending? You don’t have to face it alone. Let us support you on the road to recovery.
Call us at 6547 1011 or email help@onehopecentre.org today. Together, we can help you reclaim your life.
